About the Water Damage Repair Job:
Service Restore Pro is looking for a skilled Water Damage Repair Technician to join our team. As an essential part of our disaster response crew, you will be responsible for handling emergency water damage repair in Minneapolis, including water extraction, drying services, and restoration work in Minneapolis and surrounding areas such as St. Paul, Bloomington, and Edina.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency water damage calls and assess damage to residential and commercial properties
- Perform water extraction and drying services using specialized equipment
- Document work completed through photos, notes, and daily logs
- Provide support in mold remediation and fire damage restoration when needed
- Participate in on-call rotation and flexible working hours
Salary
- Competitive pay based on experience and certifications ($20–$30 per hour)

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in fast-paced situations
- Previous general labor experience, preferably in construction or restoration
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in confined spaces
- Basic technology skills and familiarity with company software
Equipment & Industry Certifications:
- Equipment Used: Prochem and HydraMaster truck-mounted extraction units, Dri-Eaz and Phoenix portable water extractors, LGR 7000XLi and Dri-Eaz Evolution LGR dehumidifiers, Protimeter Surveymaster and Tramex Moisture Encounter moisture meters, DefendAir HEPA 500 and Abatement Technologies PAS2400 HEPA air scrubbers.
- Certifications: IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) preferred, but training is available
- Organizations: Service Restore Pro follows IICRC standards and collaborates with insurance companies for claims processing
